18+ Age and Adult-Content Settings

ChaytAI is an 18+ service. The app may ask for or store your birthdate, age-verification status, and NSFW visibility preferences so it can control adult-content access, personalize Discovery, and keep NSFW content hidden when you choose that setting. If your saved birthdate shows that you are under 18, NSFW content should stay hidden and your access may be limited.

Information We Collect

• Account information such as username, display name, optional email address, Google sign-in identifiers, profile photo, birthdate, gender, roleplay nickname, and account settings.
• Chat and character data such as messages, conversation summaries, pinned memory, bot descriptions, bot rules, tags, uploaded images, older generated media if it is already saved, reviews, public bot links, and creator ownership records.
• Product settings such as hide-NSFW preferences, blur-NSFW-image preferences, language settings, formatting settings, model choices, notification choices, Discovery interests, and tutorial progress.
• Credit, subscription, reward, referral, checkout, and usage records needed to provide credits, Chayt+, daily rewards, payment confirmation, refunds, and fraud prevention.
• Technical information such as device, browser, app version, IP-related network data, user agent, logs, error reports, storage identifiers, security signals, and timestamps.

How We Use Information

• To create accounts, keep users signed in, sync state across sessions, restore chats, display public bots, and save user preferences.
• To send chat prompts to AI providers, return AI replies, moderate images, summarize chats, and apply model settings.
• To hide NSFW content when selected, blur NSFW or explicit images when selected, mark adult bots, and reduce exposure to unwanted adult material.
• To operate credits, Chayt+, rewards, referrals, purchases, app install bonuses, usage limits, payment confirmations, and support workflows.
• To prevent abuse, investigate policy violations, enforce rules, detect fraud, troubleshoot bugs, secure accounts, and protect the service.

Chats, Bots, and AI Providers

When you chat with a character or use AI chat features, your messages, bot context, settings, and relevant account information may be processed by ChaytAI and by AI model providers or infrastructure providers used to deliver the response. Different models may have different capabilities, safety limits, and provider practices. Avoid entering passwords, payment card numbers, government IDs, private addresses, or information you would not want processed by an AI service.

Images, NSFW Blur, and Moderation

Image generation is currently paused and is not part of the active ChaytAI experience. ChaytAI may still process uploaded images, avatars, full character images, public bot images, and older generated media if it was already saved before the pause.

ChaytAI may process images to display them, crop them, cache them, moderate them, detect explicit content, or apply blur controls. NSFW image detection is imperfect. A blur setting can reduce unwanted exposure, but it cannot guarantee that every explicit image will be detected or that every blurred image is actually explicit.

Public Content

Public characters, public bot metadata, tags, creator display names, reviews, votes, and public links can be visible to other users and may appear in Discovery, search, character pages, shared previews, or moderation tools. Do not publish private personal information in bot descriptions, images, reviews, prompts, or profile fields.

Cookies and Local Storage

ChaytAI may use cookies, local storage, service-worker caches, device storage, and similar tools to keep you signed in, remember settings, save offline or unsynced state, cache app files, reduce duplicate work, prevent abuse, and keep the app usable. Clearing browser storage may sign you out or remove local-only drafts.

Third-Party Services

ChaytAI may rely on third parties for Google sign-in, hosting, analytics, ads, payments, AI models, media storage, moderation, email, app distribution, and security. Those services may receive information needed to provide their part of the service and may handle it under their own terms and privacy policies. Payment details are generally handled by payment processors, not stored directly as full card numbers by ChaytAI.

Ads and Analytics

ChaytAI may use ad services and basic analytics to keep the website running, understand usage, measure performance, and support free access. This may include Google advertising scripts, rewarded ads, display ads, consent tools, fraud checks, and ad-performance signals. Ad providers may use cookies or device signals according to their own settings and privacy policies. You may have browser, device, Google account, or regional controls for cookies, ad personalization, consent, and tracking choices.

Ads are separate from ChaytAI's own character content. ChaytAI does not claim that Google or any advertising provider sponsors, approves, certifies, or endorses the app. Advertising providers may restrict what ads appear, where they appear, or whether ads are available in a region or device environment.

Retention

ChaytAI keeps information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, provide account features, maintain chats and bots, process purchases, enforce policies, prevent fraud, handle disputes, comply with legal obligations, and maintain backups. Some deleted or changed data may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, fraud-prevention records, payment records, moderation records, or security systems.

Your Choices

• You can stop using ChaytAI at any time.
• You can change profile details, Discovery interests, hide-NSFW settings, and blur-NSFW-image settings in Settings.
• You can keep characters private instead of public, edit your characters, or delete characters you created.
• You can delete your account from Settings or read more on the Delete Account page.
• You can contact [email protected] for privacy, safety, or account questions.

Security

ChaytAI uses reasonable measures for a solo-developer service, but no website, app, database, AI provider, payment provider, or network can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Use a strong password, keep your Google account secure, do not share login details, and report suspicious account activity.

Changes

This Policy may change as ChaytAI changes. The "Last updated" date shows the newest revision. Continuing to use ChaytAI after changes means you accept the updated privacy practices described here.
